Paid Work Experience for Youth & Adults
Funded by City of Portland, Prosper Portland and Worksystems, the Here for Portland initiative through Portland MetroWorks is a work experience placement program. The goals are 2-fold; first to provide local businesses that have been impacted by the pandemic with workers whose wages are paid through the Here for Portland initiative, and secondly provide employment opportunities to local students and workforce program participants by directly matching them to a job.
